A pharmaceutical giant that is accused of selling fake Viagra to its patients is trying to get its image out of the spotlight by using the Internet to promote the drug.
The drug's label and packaging, which includes a warning that it could be a “game changer” for the company, was changed by an investigator in the case.
The FDA said the FDA received a complaint from a customer that the pills were being sold on the Internet. The company is accused of selling the drugs for $1.5 billion a year.
